I love this place. The service is a little slow but for good reason. The food is so fresh and so good. Their portions are amazing aswell. The restaurant is always clean and never dirty at all. Totally recommend this place
The Katsu chicken & teriyaki chiken is cooked to perfection. It's fresh and seasoned. The macaroni however was bad it tasted like macaroni with light mayo as someone else mentioned (no seasoning or pepper). We also ordered the California roll since it was buy 1 get one free on Uber eats but they only sent 1 so that was dissapointing. We also ordered the rainbow roll and it was ok. Presentation is supberb. They didn't forget any condiments which a lot of places do. I would come back but only for the chicken.
This is fresh Asian food! So good! The Macaroni salad Chowmein 10/10 Veggies are actually cooked like wow Coming back For SURE!
Food was delicious! Ordered a California Roll and a spicy California Roll both orders were fresh and very appetizing. Also a side of macaroni salad which was a delicious no frills old school salad, just the way I like it. I ordered on line and my order was ready when I arrived. Have to compliment the packaging on my to go order! I was impressed! I didn't eat in but the place is impeccably clean, has a nice vibe and it's newly renovated (It was formerly the old, Hong Kong Restaurant). The staff is super cool. I live a block from this newly opened establishment and I'm happy to say, Whittier Blvd. in East LA now has a darn good sushi restaurant! Welcome to the neighborhood, CHOP Asian Kitchen!
